In the laboratory at the Hengjiu Machinery Plant in the Development Zone of Queshan County, testing is underway for a new automotive brake drum product. From the very beginning of the company’s product positioning planning, the local government has guided the enterprise to focus on the niche segment of commercial vehicles and pursue a path of “specialization, refinement, uniqueness, and innovation.”

Our products focus exclusively on what’s inside the “circle”—the tire itself—and don’t venture beyond that “circle.” We either do something uniquely or become the industry leader. Each year, our R&D investment is no less than 5% of our sales revenue—amounting to tens of millions of yuan every year.

Through innovation, the company has equipped brake drums with a “diamond-like protective coating.” With the addition of new materials and an exclusive proprietary formula developed by the company that enables perfect fusion between different materials, components such as brake drums now boast long service lives, reduced weight, and resistance to cracking. The company’s bimetallic composite brake drums have quickly gained popularity in the market. However, as the automotive industry undergoes upgrades and commercial vehicles evolve toward greater diversity and miniaturization, the company’s products urgently need to shift gears and upgrade themselves.

The government’s strong service capabilities have translated into enhanced productivity for enterprises. As a result, Hengjiu Machinery has successively launched a series of composite brake discs and aluminum alloy wheel products, which have been highly favored by both domestic and international customers.

At the same time, our products are also being exported in large quantities to Europe and the United States, and from a market perspective, our products have truly “gone viral.” With the continued investment in our Phase II project, we will quadruple our sales revenue, reaching a short-term strategic target of 2 billion yuan.
