As long-term employees, we all know that, due to the combined impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the overall economic downturn in the industry, since... 2021 Year 7 Since the beginning of the month, the company has been facing insufficient orders, making it impossible to fully utilize its production capacity. As a result, the company has implemented measures such as shortening working hours, adopting a two-day weekend, switching to a four-day workweek followed by three days off, extending holiday leave periods, and introducing high-temperature leave. ...... In short, since there aren't many orders, we spend the whole day taking breaks—just relaxing and goofing off when we’re not busy. But the company exists to make a profit, and employees go to work to earn a living. The consequence of having no orders is a severe decline in the company’s business performance and a significant drop in employees’ salaries!
On the other hand, although orders have been insufficient, our R&D department has never been idle. We’ve continuously been developing new products and refining new processes. Over the past year, we’ve successfully developed a composite brake drum made of iron and steel, completely resolving the issue of brake drum cracking under harsh road conditions and for heavy-duty engineering vehicles. By pinpointing our customers’ pain points,痛点, and difficulties, we’ve earned their recognition and high praise. Meanwhile, our brake disc production process has become more mature and stable, enabling us to move into mass production. We’ve also achieved mass production of gray iron brake drums. Just in terms of new products alone, we’ve developed dozens of innovative solutions! Our sales team has also been constantly adjusting its strategies and optimizing its organization, actively visiting customers and expanding markets. As a result, overseas orders have surged significantly, and our domestic market development is beginning to show promising results.
Thanks to the continuous efforts of all departments, orders—both domestic and international—have gradually increased, and for a time, the company once again found itself bustling with vigorous activity. However, the prolonged shortage of orders has led to employee turnover, a slower pace of work, declining efficiency, and a sudden surge in delivery pressure! Yet, customer orders don't wait—so what’s to be done? The company immediately convened meetings at all levels, launching campaigns to rally everyone, making detailed arrangements, coordinating resources, and overcoming difficulties—all with one single goal: to complete the tasks on time, with guaranteed quality and quantity! As a result, cadres took the lead, and employees stepped up their efforts. The managers of the Sales Department, Production Department, Technical Department, and Quality Department all jumped into the frontline. All workshop directors and team leaders assumed operational roles directly. Sales representatives, quality inspectors, safety officers, and system administrators—all became multi-skilled professionals, ready to lend a hand wherever they were needed.
In an instant, we were all deeply moved, our passions ignited, and our blood once again began to boil—rekindling the same spirit that first inspired Hengjiu Company when it was founded. Precisely:
